May 14, 2008 WMIB turns 25 years old.  To Celebrate, and thank all of our supporters we held a pig roast at the South Shore Centre here on Barrie’s Lake Shore.  Several hundred were in attendance from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Clients and our company partners alike enjoyed great food, live music and even better company.  One of the ways our team at Will Marshall Insurance tries to give back to those who have given us so much.


For four consecutive years the staff at Will Marshall Insurance have taken part in the bowl for Big Brothers & Big Sisters.  Each participating staff member collects pledges from the community to support this great cause.  Will Marshall Insurance is also a corporate sponsor.




Will Marshall Insurance also held its annual OPEN golf tournament at the Orr Lake Golf course.   WMIB has used this tournament to raise money for the “Seasons Centre for Grieving Children”. 

A local charity here in Barrie, with the help of our community, staff, supporting insurance company partners and  policy holders WMIB has raised over $10,000 in the first three years of this initiative. 

This tournament is held every second Sunday in September.  As an 8:00 a.m. shot gun two man best ball the tournament appeals to any skill level as both recreational and competitive, best of all it helps charity.
